This Can’t End Well

My band, This Can’t End Well, is playing tomorrow evening with the most excellent folks in Makeunder!
We’re playing at one of my favorite venues, too- the charming antique store and private venue, Viracocha.

Here’s the details:

Wednesday July 24th
21st & Valencia
San Francisco, CA
Doors: 8:30

If you’re coming, kindly RSVP on Facebook here.

& just to convince you extra hard, here’s a video of our Amazing Horse cover from our show in December, with guest violin by Meredith Yayanos!

Lastly, if you haven’t heard Makeunder, please check out this amazing video of them:

Hope to see you all there!!!

My band, This Can’t End Well, is playing at Viracocha in the mission this evening.
Please come out! If you can, kindly RSVP on the Facebook Event.

Not Waving But Drowning – a junkyard cabaret from Brooklyn – is converging on Viracocha to deliver joyful indie rock spiked with shipwrecked shanties and Appalachian reels.

NWBD will be joined by Burlington Vermont’s own Kris Gruen, whose songs soften the world’s sharp edges like a glass of exceptionally fine bourbon, as well as San Francisco’s own string-informed experimental indie This Can’t End Well.

8pm – Kris Gruen –
9pm – Not Waving But Drowning –
10pm – This Can’t End Well –

You don’t want to miss this show. I will neither confirm or deny that we are doing a Hall & Oates cover.

I’m playing a show on December 1st at The Lost Church with my dear friend Myrrh Larsen, and you all should come.

I imagine this set will be full of things you haven’t heard from me in a long time as well as things you’ve never heard before.

Also this is my favorite venue in SF right now, and it’s only got 50 seats!
They assure me that the link for presale tickets will be up at really soon, so check there to see if you can get tickets ahead of time.

It would really mean a lot to me if you’d come.

You guys, things have been rough in Starland.

& I suspect they’ll get worse before they get better.

I’m trying though- harder than I think I’ve ever tried at anything.

Here is a cell phone picture of a laptop screen, editing the Show and Tell video.

The raw footage is something I’m really, really excited about.

I’m hoping to screen it at the show we have at The Lost Church on December 1st, which you should come to.

I could really use the support right now.

Things are going to change soon. I’m not sure how yet, but I know that they will.

Here’s to hoping that it’s for the better.
